Broncos snap count and review vs. Seahawks

The Denver Broncos defense played well in the first half, but the offense was mostly sleep-walking through the game against the Seattle Seahawks. Let's see who played and who didn't.

The game-day inactives were:

Four of our five offensive linemen played all 69 offensive snaps. Garett Bolles played 54 before leaving with an injury and Matt Peart played 18 snaps. Peart was used on three heavy set formations since 54+18=72.

The running back group had Javonte Williams getting 36 snaps, Jaleel McLaughlin getting 24 and Audric Estime getting 3. Michael Burton got 10 as a fullback.

The tight ends had Greg Dulcich playing 46 snaps, Adam Trautman playing 24 and Nate Adkins playing 14.

The WR group had Courtland Sutton with 63 snaps, Josh Reynolds with 55, DeVaughn Vele with 34, LJ Humphrey with 21 and Marvin Mims with 12.

Offensive players who played on special teams only were the Alexes - Forsyth and Palczewski.

I would like to see Mims and Estime play more offensive snaps next game as they appear to be the only two dynamic players we have right now on offense.

Three defensive players played every snap: Riley Moss, Alex Singleton, and Patrick Surtain II.

On the defensive line Zach Allen played all but two snaps (65), DJ Jones played 37, John Franklin-Myers played 34, Malcolm Roach played 30, and Jordan Jackson played 15.

From the OLBs Jonathan Cooper played 47, Baron Browning played 46, Nik Bonitto played 23, and Jonah Ellis played 21.

The other ILBs Cody Barton and Kristian Welch played 24 and 19 snaps.

Among our other DBs, PJ Locke played all but two snaps, JaQuan McMillian played 48, Brandon Jones played 46, Devon Key played 14 and Levin Wallace played two.

Four defenders played on special teams but not on defense: JL Skinner, Tremon Smith, Justin Strnad, and Keidron Smith.
