Rainbow Road to Super Punch-Out, see Pizza CatMax's cheesy pies, video game vibes

ANN ARBOR, MI - Pizza and Super Nintendo. It's a 90s kids' dream.

PizzaCat Max is a new Ann Arbor pizza spot offering that exact experience, leaning into cheesy slices and colorful toppings to match its Nintendo-inspired color palette.

One example is the Rainbow Road, named after the vibrant final stage of the Mario Kart series. That comes with red onions, green and roasted red peppers and pineapples.

Think red and green turtle shells and yellow banana peels from the game.

This is quintessential college student pizza, as it loads up on gooey cheese. The flavor also pops with its garlic butter base.
