HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) -- Authorities say an officer at the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles's Huntsville Field Office was arrested for driving under the influence over the weekend.
Huntsville Police told News 19 that Arthur Mauldin was arrested following a traffic stop on Saturday, October 12, just before 8 p.m.
According to HPD, the officer noticed Mauldin was showing signs of impaired driving. Mauldin was placed under arrest after the officer completed his preliminary investigation.
The Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles confirmed Mauldin is an officer at the Huntsville Day Reporting Center, and added that he has been placed on leave pending an investigation.
