Jeff Glor, the Town of Tonawanda native who recently was let go in a cost-cutting move by CBS News, was seen Sunday afternoon in the WIVB-TV suite at Highmark Stadium during the Buffalo Bills' 34-10 victory over the Tennessee Titans.
He was here for more than just the game.
In a telephone interview, Glor confirmed he had separate preliminary talks over the weekend with officials of WIVB-TV (Channel 4) and WGRZ-TV (Channel 2).
Glor, 49, is weighing his options both here and nationally after his 17-year CBS career ended. He most recently co-anchored "CBS Saturday Morning" and before that was the anchor of "The CBS Evening News."

"I think it was a good visit all around," Glor said of his weekend visit here. "I grew up watching both stations."
He hasn't ruled out working in Buffalo.
"I wouldn't be here if it wasn't something I was considering," he said.
Channel 4 General Manager Joe Abouzeid, who was in the Channel 4 suite Sunday, declined to comment.
It likely would be difficult for either Channel 4 or Channel 2 to pay Glor enough to be an anchor based in Buffalo without their owners finding a creative way to get him involved in a national broadcast that would increase his salary.
Still, Glor's visit to the Channel 4 suite will lead to speculation over the future of Don Postles, who has been a successful Channel 4 anchor for more than 31 years and is now in his 70s.

According to sources, Postles' contract is expiring at the end of the year. Channel 4's owner, Nexstar, might be ready to move on from him after his longtime co-anchor Jacquie Walker dropped a regular anchor shift to take a reduced role at the station.
Channel 4 hasn't advertised to fill Walker's job. It also hasn't advertised for Postles' position.
"I have no idea what they have planned," said Postles in a brief telephone interview Monday afternoon.
He noted that the ratings for his newscasts are strong. Asked if he wants to continue working, he responded: "We'll see. Depends on the conditions."
Kelsey Anderson appears to be the in-house favorite to take Walker's role permanently, but it isn't a given.
Anderson, who has been anchoring at 5:30 p.m., 10 p.m. and 11 p.m., hasn't co-anchored with Postles since he became irate at her almost a year ago after she properly asked him to correct a mistake he made on the air. Postles now anchors at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Dave Greber has replaced Postles on the newscasts that Anderson co-anchors.
Channel 2's primary male anchor Scott Levin is 60. He has been at the station since 1998, except for the three months when he worked for West Herr Automotive Group in 2017.
"We enjoyed seeing Jeff while he was in Buffalo this weekend," wrote Channel 2 General Manager Mark Manders in an email. "Scott Levin and WGRZ have plans well into the future."
Tegna, Channel 2's owner, may be trying to keep Glor away from its rival or it has bigger plans for him than a local newscast here or for a station in one of its bigger markets.
Of course, Glor may receive more lucrative options from networks or streaming sites.
The salaries of anchors in Buffalo have been declining in recent years and are nowhere near what Glor is used to making at CBS. Budgets are even tighter these days.
If he were to get an offer from an owner of a Buffalo station, the attractiveness of working here for Glor likely would be more about loving his hometown, living closer to his mother and working for a station that he grew up watching than it would be about compensation.
