Former Wisconsin Badgers great Braelon Allen caught his first career touchdown reception as a member of the New York Jets from former Green Bay Packers legend Aaron Rodgers.
The 12-yard screen pass also results in the oldest player in the NFL (Rodgers, 40) throwing a touchdown pass to the youngest (Allen, 20). And that may happen many times throughout the season.
Allen, who was named to the All-Big Ten second team each of the three seasons he played running back for the Badgers, was selected in the fourth round by the Jets in the 2024 NFL Draft. He had a rushing and passing attempt in the Jets week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. He is backup to starter Breece Hall, but some speculate Allen's role may increase throughout the season.
Jets have an 0-1 record and are in Nashville to play the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
