Both teams head into this contest riding the high of dominant wins to open the season. New Orleans had the biggest margin of victory in the league, and Dallas took care of business en route to a 33-17 win in Cleveland. This sets the stage for a shootout in the Lone Star State in Week 2.

Sunday's get-together will be the 32nd all-time between the Cowboys and Saints. Dallas won the last meeting on the road, 27-17, back in 2021. New Orleans' roster will look different than the last time the Cowboys saw it though. Taysom Hill -- who led the hosts in passing and rushing -- has been relieved of his quarterback duties since the last meeting.
Dallas will instead face Derek Carr, who is in his second season with the Black and Gold. Carr is 1-1 against the Cowboys in two career games. He went 45-for-77 in those clashes with 544 passing yards and three touchdowns.
The former Raiders quarterback was 19-for-23 for 200 yards and three touchdowns in Week 1 behind an offensive line that held up surprisingly well. They will be put to the ultimate test against Micah Parsons and one of the NFL's best front sevens on Sunday.

Dallas opens as a 6.5-point favorite in its home opener, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The Cowboys are currently trading at -115 to cover the spread, indicating that we could see the hosts move to a touchdown favorite soon.
The intriguing line in this matchup is the total of 45.5 points.
New Orleans is coming off a 47-point performance and the Cowboys lit up the scoreboard, as well. Oddsmakers are showing these are relatively fluky results -- especially in the former's case -- with this over/under. Two of the league's best defenses will be on display at AT&T Stadium and this line reflects that reality.
