The Scranton-based high-speed internet provider has launched expansion efforts throughout Luzerne County, the company announced Thursday.
Service is coming to Butler Twp., Conyngham Borough, Forty Fort, Freeland, Hazle Twp., Luzerne, Nanticoke, Sugarloaf Twp. and Swoyersville, the company said in a news release.
Loop claims its service is reliable and "faster than any other provider in the area."
"We're thrilled to bring the fastest fiber internet to these communities," said Jason Wasmanski, general manager of Loop. "As a local company, we're investing in the future of Northeastern Pennsylvania by providing the speeds and reliability that residents and businesses need to thrive."
Service is expected to launch later this year in the expansion areas.

Loop has been rapidly expanding since its founding in 2015 by businessman Chris Hacken, recently adding service in Scranton and Mountain Top
Hacken, Loop's founder and CEO, a Mountain Top native, remains actively involved in the company's on-the-ground operations.
