"It's a Wonderful Life" is the story of George Bailey, who, in his moment of despair, is given a gift of knowing just how many lives he touched. Many years ago I told a friend that I didn't see any meaning to my life and was off to fight in a foreign land. I was reminded of the many lives I touched. Although I produced no life; the lives I saved did. Those that I taught were given a sense of proportion with the transfer of knowledge and the stimulation of critical thinking. Books I published, poems I wrote, and art I produced, will live on even though I will not. We all have a little George Bailey in us. Merry Christmas!
