Sherwood provided an assist and 10 hits in Thursday's 3-2 overtime win over the Panthers.

Sherwood has had no qualms about throwing his body around, logging 23 hits through the Canucks' first four games. The helper was his first point this season, and he's added six shots on net and four blocked shots. Sherwood's heavy playing style was evident when he put up 27 points and 234 hits over 68 regular-season outings with the Predators last year, but he's not a huge source of PIM. The winger figures to spend most of 2024-25 in a third-line role.
