Saint Francis welcomes vice president, new CRNAs

Spencer joined Saint Francis in August and has spent more than 15 years in health care leadership positions.

"He will play a critical role in shaping our healthcare system's future, focusing on operational excellence, strategic growth and the continued delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care." Justin Davison, Saint Francis president and chief executive officer, said in a news release.

Spencer will oversee Saint Francis Medical Center strategy and operations with particular attention to primary care, medical and surgical specialties and support services.

He earned a Master of Business Administration from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Spencer previously worked for Mercy Hospital Springfield Communities in Springfield.

The health care system also announced the hiring of four certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs). Hardy Cleveland, Nathan Meystedt, Summer Meystedt and Janice Starek will join the Saint Francis surgical department.
