Town residents and visitors are reminded that the Ocean City Inlet Lot will be closed to public parking from Sept. 10 until Oct. 13, 2024, to accommodate several upcoming events taking place this fall, the town of Ocean City said in a news release. The lot will reopen after 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 13.
As a result of the closure, the downtown area is expected to be congested over the next several weeks. Both drivers and pedestrians are advised to remain alert and patient at all times. The Ocean City Beach Bus is a suitable alternative to searching for open parking in the ever-busy downtown area.
