A Sephora store will occupy one of the four spaces in the former Books-A-Million building in south Lafayette.

The popular makeup and skincare store was issued a building permit for one of the spaces at 4419 Ambassador Caffery in the River Marketplace shopping center on Tuesday, records show.

The building is being divided into four retail spaces that will total about 16,700 square feet. Lululemon and J Crew will occupy two spaces in the building with one space remaining.

The Books-A-Million store closed earlier this year ahead of opening the 2nd & Charles store nearby.
