Don't mind me, just checking in on the Karol G hive -- is everyone okay after her *major* return to the VMAs? 😮💨 For her second-ever performance at the beloved awards show, Karol sang her summer smash, "Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido" (which has already gone platinum in my household, tysm) and rocked low-rise bell bottoms with the cutest halter bra.

She even got crowd members Taylor Swift and Camila Cabello involved in the action which, naturally, sent fans spinning.

Before she killed it on the VMA stage (for the second year in a row, might I add 💅), Karol celebrated her recent collaboration with Andrea Bocelli on Instagram, writing in Spanish, "I couldn't feel more grateful for this invitation and for having the opportunity to do gigantic things that I never imagined." She went on to thank the famous Italian singer for his compliments on her talent and her work, closing her message with, "WHAT AN HONOR to be part of this moment!" Okay, her range? Not to be messed with!

While she's up for the Best Latin award at this year's ceremony, Karol had a massive year in 2023. Her album Mañana Será Bonito made history when it became the first No. 1 all-Spanish-language album by a female artist on Billboard's Hot 200 albums chart, and la bichota also snagged a Moon Person award at last year's VMAs for her collaboration with Video Vanguard recipient Shakira, "TQG."

"If collaborating with the legendary Shakira had been impressive, having an award with her is something from another planet," Karol said in Spanish. "Thank you everybody, I love you!"
