As part of the fun surrounding Christmas, Mariah Carey announced that she is teaming up with Virgin Hotels for Pop-Up bars. This got us thinking about all of the interesting places in Acadiana where Carey should personally come and visit. She would provide the music, we would supply the liquor, the decorations and the food. Oh, Mimi, can't you come to Louisiana and sing to us?

To celebrate, Mariah Carey's Christmas pop-up bars will be held in certain cities! The pop-up will come to New Orleans! One of the things you can do at each pop-up bar is write a letter to Carey. That is very exciting! We could write a letter to her telling her how great it would be if she would come to venues in Acadiana!

Can you imagine how amazing it would be to eat at Pat's while Mariah sings her heart out? You would be eating some of their delicious food, and Mariah Carey would start singing. I would be so excited, I would pass out! It's so close to I-10 that her tour bus would have easy access to the road.

Jockey Lot Would Be a Great Venue for a Mariah Carey Performance

There is so much space at the Jockey Lot that there would be a major traffic jam on Interstate 49 if a pop-up bar was located at the site.

Carey could get a two-for-one with this deal. She could be in charge of a Mardi Gras float where she could perform, thus promoting Christmas and Mardi Gras!

The parking lot at LaFonda's has been jammed up for decades. Let's add a Mariah Carey appearance and pop-up bar, and we would need a parking garage. After a few margaritas thought, no one would care.

Think about the number of amazing acts that have been performed at the Yambilee.

Traveling in Youngsville is all about the roundabouts. Why not have Mariah pick one, and we can all drive by while she sings?
