This Buzzy Slasher Flick Is The Top Movie On Netflix Right Now

"Time Cut" is currently the most popular movie on Netflix, according to the platform's public ranking system.

The sci-fi slasher film tells the story of a teenage girl who time travels back to 2003, the year her older sister was murdered by a serial killer. Released on Oct. 30, the movie has received mostly negative reviews from critics.

"Time Cut" stars Madison Bailey, Antonia Gentry, Griffin Gluck, Michael Shanks and Rachael Crawford.

The new documentary "Music by John Williams" began streaming on Disney+ on Nov. 1 following a limited theatrical release.

Directed by Laurent Bouzereau, the critically acclaimed film examines the career and life of composer and conductor John Williams, whose film scores are among the most iconic in Hollywood history. "Music by John Williams" features interviews with Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Ron Howard, J.J. Abrams, Yo-Yo Ma and more.

"Despicable Me 4" is trending on Peacock since joining the streaming service on Oct. 31.

The animated comedy is the sixth installment in the "Despicable Me" franchise, which includes the first three titular films, as well as the spin-off prequels "Minions" and "Minions: The Rise of Gru." "Despicable Me 4" features the voices of Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Joey King, Miranda Cosgrove, Steve Coogan, Sofía Vergara, Stephen Colbert, Chloe Fineman and Will Ferrell.

The coming-of-age drama "Janet Planet" is currently on the list of most popular movies on Max.

Starring Julianne Nicholson and Zoe Ziegler, the film revolves around the relationship between an 11-year-old girl and her single mother. "Janet Planet" premiered at the 50th Telluride Film Festival in 2023 before hitting theaters in June 2024.

One of the top movies on Hulu right now is the 2016 rom-com "Why Him?" which was a critical flop but managed to become a box office success.

Bryan Cranston plays a father who does not approve of his daughter's successful but immature boyfriend (James Franco). The film also features Megan Mullally, Zoey Deutch, Cedric the Entertainer, Keegan-Michael Key, Kaley Cuoco, Casey Wilson, Andrew Rannells and Adam DeVine.
