Arkansas Supreme Court chief justice candidate Rhonda Wood raised about $42,000 in contributions in September and her foe, Karen Baker, raised about $9,300 in contributions, according to their latest campaign finance reports.
The September campaign finance reports for candidates for state offices either had to be filed with the secretary of state's office or postmarked by Monday.
In September, Wood reported raising $42,038.03 in contributions and spending $2,592.45.
According to her report, the largest contributions to Wood in September included $3,300 apiece from Koch Inc. Political Action Committee, Republican Party of Garland County, Sebastian County Republican Committee, White County Republican Committee, and $2,500 apiece from Robert Christian of Batesville and from Arkansans for Rural Development, $2,300 from the Associated Industries of Arkansas PAC, and $2,000 from Republican Party of Benton County.
