Game Balls: Here are the top SW Florida high school football Week 12 performers

Bishop Verot, First Baptist, Lely, and Immokalee all clinched district titles while Fort Myers stayed in the hunt for a championship by knocking off Riverdale.

Those were just some of the top games from Week 12 of the high school football season.

To honor the players who stood out, The News-Press and Naples Daily News hand out their Game Balls for the top efforts each week. Here are those players for this week's games.

Mac Thompson, Fort Myers

Thompson scored a pair of third-quarter touchdowns, one on a run and the other on a 50-yard interception return, to help lift the Green Wave past Riverdale.

Deshon Jenkins, Bishop Verot

The running back rushed for a season-high 256 yards in the Vikings' win over Glades Central.

Carter Smith, Bishop Verot

The senior quarterback broke former South Fort Myers star Dallas Crawford's all-time Lee County passing record in the win over Glades Central. Smith threw for 205 yards, giving him 8,648 for his career.

Shawn Simeon, Naples

The senior running back rushed for 231 yards in a win over South Fort Myers.

Laz Rogers, East Lee County

The senior running back rushed for 212 yards and three touchdowns in the Jaguars' win over Lemon Bay.

Brady Quinn, First Baptist

The quarterback threw for 311 yards and four touchdowns in the Lions' win over St. John Neumann.

Brody Graham, Barron Collier

The wide receiver had five catches for 154 yards and three touchdowns in the Cougars' win over Bonita Springs.

Caedon Conn, North Fort Myers

The junior quarterback completed 29-of-49 passes for a career-best 350 yards and three touchdowns in a loss to Dunbar.

Austin Price, Dunbar

The senior quarterback completed 8-of-10 passes for 99 yards and three touchdowns against the Red Knights.
