NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) -- Two occupants were displaced after a fire broke out on their front porch in Norwalk on Monday evening.
The fire was at 174 Woodward Ave. and was reported at about 8:16 p.m. by multiple callers. When crews arrived, the front porch was heavily involved in the fire and nearby Good Samaritans were trying to put it out with a garden hose.
Two people were home during the time of the fire, and were unaware until the Samaritans alerted them. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
