CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Leaves are changing colors and the air is growing crisper, which can only mean one thing: Spooky season is upon us.
As October settles in, many across the nation are putting up their scariest (or cutest) decorations to get into the Halloween spirit.
Whether you're a Wednesday Addams looking for a spine-chilling adventure, or a Linus who awaits the Great Pumpkin, the Cincinnati area offers a little bit of everything for everyone - scary and not.
Paint & Sip
Enjoy a glass of wine while painting an orange Halloween Moon with a step-by-step art class at I.C.I. Studio. Those 21+ are allowed to drink, but anyone 16 or older is welcome to join the class.
Participants will paint on a 16x20 canvas and all materials will be provided for all skill levels. Reserve a spot here.
Haunted Fest Cincinnati
For those who love Halloween and listen to House Music, now is your time as BREAKAWAY prepares for "Haunted Fest Cincinnati" at MegaCorp Pavilion.
The series of concerts will be outside (rain or shine) and will feature several artists: Ganja White Night, ZINGARA, Levity, and STAR SEED. Check out your ticket options here.
Be Afraid of the Dark Halloween Party
One of Cincinnati's most-haunted venues, The Woodward Theater, is hosting a Halloween Party, called Be Afraid of the Dark. Several musical guests will be performing at the event, including Black Season Witch and Elsie Binx. Attendees must be at least 17 years old to enter and 21 years old to drink. Buy tickets here.
Out-Of-This-World Halloween Party
The Lackman, a bar located in Over-the-Rhine, is hosting a 2-day Halloween Party that they say will be out of this world.
"Join us for two intergalactic nights of fun and otherworldly cocktails. Costumes are encouraged. Alien abduction has never looked so fun," the bar wrote online. RSVP here.
Nightmare on Elm Street
Rhinegeist is getting into the Halloween spirit as they host "Nightmare on Elm Street" with spooky drag, tarot card readings, dancing and a costume contest.
HallZOOween
The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens is hosting a free event for families to celebrate Halloween. This includes trick-or-treating stations, animal enrichment activities, Phil Dalton's Theater of Illusion Shows (1 and 3 p.m.), Hogwarts Express Train rides (additional charge) and "Scare-ousel" rides (additional charge).
Halloween Party Workshop
I.C.I. Studio invites children ages 5-11 to join them for a Halloween-themed art party. Kids will be provided aprons to go over their Halloween costumes at the venue. One ticket is $33.85. Register here.
Halloween Haunt
Kings Island's annual Halloween Haunt returns this year and runs until November. Guests will get to experience a thrilling night ride on many of the park's roller coasters, such as The Beast, Diamondback, Mystic Timbers and more, in addition to some of the Halloween scares.

Highfield Halloween Party
Leading up to Halloween night, Great Parks is hosting a Halloween party at Highfield Discovery Garden.
"Visit the Garden for some spooky fun! This family-friendly party will have some crafts, story times, and pumpkin science that all tie back to the spirit of Halloween. There will even be an opportunity to meet some (not so) creepy crawlers. Guests are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes," Great Parks wrote online.
All ages are welcome, and it's $6 for entry.
Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics
The viral and global Candlelight concert returns to Cincinnati for a Halloween special at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center for two performances. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here. Attendees must be 8 years old or older.
