Boulder County has a new Division of Homeless Systems and Coordinated Response, which is designed to beef up its response to people who are unhoused and to be able to secure additional state and federal funding, according to a press release.
Heidi Grove will head up the new division, which will operate under the Boulder County Housing Department. The new division will continue to collaborate with numerous other groups in Boulder County, including Homeless Solutions for Boulder County and the governments of Boulder and Longmont, the press release said. Robin Bohannan will remain the chair of the Homeless Solutions for Boulder County executive board. Community partners include All Roads (formerly the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless); Focus Re-Entry; and HOPE Longmont.
The Boulder County government created the new housing department in April. The move to create a new county division as part of the housing department comes after the Boulder County commissioners gave $900,000 to All Roads in 2023 and $300,000 to HOPE Longmont.
