New OnePlus tablet with MediaTek SoC spotted on Geekbench

Multiple reports in the past few weeks have suggested that OnePlus is working on a new tablet. A few details about the devices leaked earlier this month. The leak suggested that the new device will be a mid-range offering. Now, Geekbench has benchmarked the upcoming OnePlus tablet with a MediaTek processor.

According to the benchmark scores, the mystery OnePlus tablet has the model number "OPD2407". The device has a "k6897v1_64" motherboard and an octa-core processor. There are four cores with a clock speed of 2.20GHz, three cores running at 3.20GHz, and one core clocking at 3.35GHz. We don't know what SoC this is, but its configuration points to it being the MediaTek Dimensity 8350.

Furthermore, the tablet has managed to score 1,385 in the single-core test and 4,230 in the multi-core round. Geeekbench has benchmarked the device running Android 15 OS and packing 12GB of RAM. The database also suggests that the tablet will have a Mali-G615 MC6 GPU. Unfortunately, Geekbench hasn't revealed any other details about the tablet.

Notably, the reports indicate that the upcoming OnePlus tablet could be a rebranded version of the OPPO Pad 3. If it's true, then we can expect the device to offer an 11.6-inch display with a resolution of 2,000 x 2,800 pixels. The slate could also flaunt a high screen refresh rate of 144Hz. Additionally, the tablet could support stylus input.

Furthermore, OnePlus will offer the new tablet in multiple RAM and storage variants. These could include 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. Notably, the unnamed tablet could have an 8MP camera at both the front and rear. Lastly, a 9,520mAh battery with 67W fast charging support could power the tablet.

OnePlus has already started taking pre-registrations for the upcoming tablet in China. The listings for the device on the brand's Chinese website suggest it will be available in Tundra Green and Space Ash colors. The new tablet will launch alongside the OnePlus Ace 5 series and Buds Ace 2 TWS earbuds on December 26.

Since the OnePlus Pad 2 launched this year, we could be looking at the latest installment in the OnePlus Pad Go line. Only time will tell.
