AN actress from Scarface looks unrecognisable 41 years after starring in the gangster flick.
Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, 66, played the role of Tony Montana's sister in the cult classic gangster movie Scarface.
The film, which came out in 1983 and grossed $66 million at the box office, centres around Tony Montana and his close friend Manny.
In the flick, the pair build a strong drug empire in Miami, but as Tony's power begins to grow, so does his ego and his enemies, and his own paranoia begins to plague his empire.
Mary played the role of Tony's sister in the flick, with her looking worlds away from her role 41 years on from it hitting cinema screens around the globe.
Mary is an American actress and singer who made her Broadway debut in the 1980 revival of West Side Story.
The brunette beauty, who is now 66 years of age, then went on to appear in Scarface alongside Al Pacino.
Mary played the role of young Cuban American woman Gina Montana, with the film stint and her starring role proving to be her breakout role.
After starring in Scarface, Mary went on to appear in several other movies - with her also sticking to her roots on stage, too.
Mary nabbed an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Carmen in the 1986 flick The Color of Money, with her also starring in the 1989 movie The Abyss.
She then starred in Robin Hood: Price of Thieves in 1991, before landing a role in the 2000 flick The Perfect Storm.
Meanwhile, on stage, Mary earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in the musical Man of La Mancha in 2003.
More recently, it was revealed that Mary would star in Law & Order: Organized Crime's upcoming fifth season.
Back in September, Mary was announced to be joining Law and Order's Organized Crime series.
The hit series follows the detectives of the Organized Crime Control Bureau as they take on New York City's most vicious and violent criminal syndicates.
Mary's last public appearance at an event was on November 4, 2019, when Mary attended Songs For Syria at WP Theater in New York City.
Wearing a black pantsuit with a black top, Mary looked incredibly chic.
The actress finished off her chic look with several necklaces, a pair of thin-framed glasses, some black shoes, and a brooch.
Mary wore her hair slicked back into an updo, and she smiled sweetly on the red carpet before heading inside the event.
Before her 2019 appearance, Mary was seen four years prior in 2015, with the actress attending another event and posing before heading inside.
For her 2015 public appearance, Mary looked great as she wore her signature curly locks down and relaxed.
Mary doesn't appear to be on social media, but last month an Instagram fan page wished her a happy birthday for her 66th birthday on November 17.
Commenting on the post, one person said: "Happy Birthday, Mary Elizabeth."
While another simply commented with a heart-eye emoji.
