At least one person has been killed and a dozen others were injured at a shooting at a Halloween party in Oklahoma City overnight, according to police.
A "disturbance" ensued at the events center where the party was being held, leading to multiple shots being fired inside and outside the building, a spokesperson for Oklahoma City Police Department told NBC News. It's not clear at this time what the disturbance was that led to the shooting.
Several people have been detained in connection with the shooting but the "suspects are unknown at this time," the spokesperson said.
"We are in the process of interviewing witnesses," police said. "We will provide more details when we get them."
