The best time of the year is here! For most, that would be Thanksgiving and Christmas. For some of us, it is Halloween season.
I absolutely love Halloween and one of my favorite days of the year is when Spirit Halloween officially opens for the season, sometimes during the summer and well before fall even hits.
That's why I was absolutely shook when I saw the news yesterday - Spirit Halloween will be opening Christmas stores at the end of spooky season.
We do have a Spirit Halloween store in the Miller Hill Mall. Will it be making the transition from spooky to Santa? Will be getting a Spirit Christmas in a different location? Here's the answer.
At the time of writing, it looks like most Spirit Halloween stores will pack up at the end of spooky season and go back to their resting place until the 2025 season. Our Duluth location is one of them.
According to Spirit Halloween's website, there are only going to be a handful of these new Spirit Christmas stores taking over when October ends.
These Spirit Christmas stores will be rolled out mainly in the eastern part of the country, with a handful of stores in New Jersey, Connecticut, New York and Pennsylvania. That means there won't be any in the midwest.
The Spirit Christmas stores will follow the same blueprint as Spirit Halloween, offering a ton of holiday merchandise and even photo opportunities with Santa.
While it would be cool to have a Spirit Christmas store in the Northland or even somewhere within driving distance, I am just glad we have a Spirit Halloween store.
Maybe they will expand their blueprint for Spirit Christmas after this test year. Just don't mess with our Spirit Halloween!
