While Auburn won't get a chance to make any noise on the field this week, it did so on the recruiting trail Thursday evening.
The Tigers earned a commitment from three-star wide receiver Sam Turner, who was previously committed to Georgia Tech.
The 6-foot-1, 195-pound receiver out of Decatur, Georgia, had been committed to the Yellow Jackets since June. A three-star prospect, Turner is the No. 479 overall recruit in the country, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
Turner is Auburn's second receiver in its 2025 class, alongside Derick Smith, who committed in July. Wide receivers coach Marcus Davis was Turner's primary recruiter.
Alongside Georgia Tech, Auburn beat out the likes of BYU, Georgia, Mississippi State and others for his pledge.
