5 players to watch from the Vikings against the Jags in Week 10

The Minnesota Vikings are back to winning ways and will look to build momentum in Week 10 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags are dealing with some injuries, including Trevor Lawrence, so we aren't sure what version of this team is going to face the Vikings.

Several players on both sides of the ball will be crucial for the Vikings in what could be a trap game. The Jaguars are competing to avoid the first overall pick, which they currently have earned, and pull an upset over the Vikings.

Here are five players that could tip the scales in favor of the Vikings with strong showings on Sunday.

Cam Robinson

Jacksonville Jaguars offensive tackle Cam Robinson (74) looks on during the third day of an NFL football training camp practice Friday, July 26, 2024 at EverBank Stadium's Miller Electric Center in Jacksonville, Fla.

Cam Robinson played well enough last week, but expectations are higher, and no more grading on a curve. He will be going against several former teammates when he defends the edge for Sam Darnold which will either help or hurt him. Heading into the game though, all eyes will be on Robinson early and often.

Jonathan Greenard

With seven sacks on the year, Jonathan Greenard has a real chance to add to that total on Sunday. Mac Jones is leaning towards being the starter and his pocket presence and processing allows him to hold onto the ball longer than Trevor Lawrence does. Pair that up with Walker Little being across from Greenard and it is a perfect storm for the Vikings defense.

Jordan Addison

Jordan Addison has looked strong in recent weeks, and as the focus grows on Justin Jefferson, look for him to play a larger role. He has bailed out the offense with some impressive plays in recent weeks, and against the Jaguars, they don't have the corner depth to contain him.

Justin Jefferson

Justin Jefferson is on pace for his third season of 1,600 receiving yards or more and third season of 100 or more catches. Look for him to stay on pace against the Jaguars and cornerback Tyson Campbell. This may be a trap game on paper, but Jefferson never lets that affect how he produces for the Vikings weekly.

T.J. Hockenson

Hockenson had a quiet return last week against the Colts but look for a little more of an impact on Sunday, not just in the passing game but also suring up the edges against Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen. It will take some time, but the Pro Bowl tight end Hockenson will be back sooner rather than later.
