The New England Patriots season hasn't gone according to plan but they have them a special player in rookie quarterback Drake Maye. So when we put together this new Patriots mock draft for 2025, we focused on building around Maye at multiple spots on offense as well as filling in some needs on the other side of the football.
With wide receivers going No. 1 and No. 2, we opt for the top offensive tackle in the draft to New England to protect Maye's blindside.
With the value just not there at wide receiver here, we opted for Umanmielen to give the Patriots a dynamic edge defender to pair with Keion White. No Patriot has more than five sacks and needs help off the edge.
Royals is a very natural route runner and shows excellent hands and body control. But it's hit track speed that makes him a great value here as a deep threat or a guy who can take a short throw and turn it into a huge gain.
Burke slides a little because he took a step back this season but his ceiling is very high and he represents excellent value here.
We like Rhamondre Stevenson but he needs a running mate who provides a different set of skills and Jonah Coleman really fits the bill in the fourth round.
