Erin Andrews Addresses Her Uncertain Future With Fox Sports

Pending an agreement reached between now and the end of the 2024 NFL season, Fox Sports' Erin Andrews could become one of the biggest sports-media free agents on the market next season.

Andrews, who's been with Fox Sports since June 2012, recently admitted on her "Calm Down" podcast, which she hosts with Fox Sports and Amazon Prime Video host Charissa Thompson, that she could hit the open market during the offseason.

"I think my goal is always kind of the same as last year," Andrews said. "Enjoy it, because it's not going to last forever, especially when your contract is up - and mine is."

"Contract year - huge," Thompson responded.

Andrews and Thompson have been best friends for years outside of their respective hosting and reporting duties.

"So, contract year, election year, and what else is happening?" Andrews added.

The revelation about her impending free agency comes on the heels of Andrews' admission about her personal life weighing on her in the leadup to the start of the NFL season.

Andrews clearly has a lot going on behind the scenes that many don't see, and she's been pretty transparent about sharing those issues with her fans and followers.

"I feel like I'm always so panicked leading up an hour before [game day], that I'm trying to recite some of [the information] and have it in my mind so it's easy to say, which I'm not doing a good job of right now," Andrews said. "So, I always feel prep is a thing I'm always trying to be really good about."

Andrews got her start in sports media with Fox Sports Florida in 2000. He joined ESPN in 2004 as a reporter for "National Hockey Night" before serving as a sideline reporter for several shows including "ESPN College Football Saturday Primetime" and "College GameDay."

After joining Fox Sports in 2012, Andrews worked on several prominent shows including "Fox NFL Sunday," "Fox College Football Kickoff," and "Fox College Saturday" in addition to her NFL sideline reporting during Fox broadcasts on Sundays.
