(CNN) - There's an important health alert concerning a breakfast staple.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is announcing a recall for some eggs that have been linked to a salmonella outbreak.
According to the CDC, at least 65 people in nine states have fallen ill from the same strain of salmonella, and 24 were hospitalized.
No deaths have been reported.
The recalled eggs were supplied by Milo's Poultry Farms.
They were shipped to stores and restaurants in Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin, but the FDA says they may have been sent other places.
The CDC says the outbreak may be difficult to treat with commonly recommended antibiotics.
The eggs are labeled with Milo's Poultry Farm or Tony's Fresh Market, and all egg types, sizes and expiration dates are included in the recall.
