The taxi driver seen in a viral video stoning a Jamaica Urban Transit Company bus in an apparent act of road rage, has been ordered to pay nearly $100,000 to repair the vehicle.
He's Elvis Abrahams.
Abrahams has also been slapped with a two year suspended sentence.
Assistant Commissioner in charge of the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch, P-STEB, Gary McKenzie, provided an update on Friday.
The violent incident which occurred in the vicinity of Hope Gardens in St. Andrew was recorded by a passenger.
ACP McKenzie says Abrahams is set to answer to other charges in relation to the incident.
