IT was a fabulous night at the BAFTAs yet again, as Conclave claimed the infamous awards for Best Film and outstanding British film.
The Brutalist also won four awards as Adrien Brody lifted the coveted best actor award.
David Tennant returned to host the prestigious award ceremony for the second time after last year's triumphant night, opening the show in a kilt.
Pop Star Ariana Grande, 31, was nominated for Best Supporting Actress gong for her role as Glinda in the Broadway musical Wicked but lost out to Zoe Saldana of Emilia Perez.
Nonetheless, Wicked collected two awards, as did Dune: Part Two, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, Emilia Perez, A Real Pain, and Anora.
Timothee Chalamet's Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown went home empty-handed despite receiving six nominations.

Conclave won the award for Best Film.
The political thriller by Edward Berger has received 12 BAFTA nominations.
Conclave, starring Ralph Fiennes, has won in four categories tonight, coming joint first alongside The Brutalist.
Berger says: "What you did to me on set when I watched you was pure magic, it was beyond my grasp or understanding.
"I am so grateful I was able to witness it. We are deeply humbled. This is such a big, big honour."
The Best Actress award went to Mikey Madison for Anora.
Mikey dedicated her victory to the sex workers community.
She said: "I just wanna say that I see you. You deserve respect and human decency. I will always be a friend and ally, and I implore others to do the same."
The Best Actor award went to Adrien Brody in the Brutalist.
And The Best Director went to Brady Corbet for The Brutalist.
Accepting his award, he said: "I'm very grateful all the same to my cast, my crew and my family. Thank you for dealing with me for the last seven or eight years."
