There was a World Series game at Dodger Stadium, a high school football classic at SoFi Stadium, a Laker game at Crypto.com Arena, and numerous concerts.

Oh, and there was that storied Big Ten matchup between Rutgers and USC at the LA Coliseum. Kickoff was set for 8 p.m.

Apparently people interested in the Scarlet Knights and Trojans decided to heed advice and watch the game from home. You could have had your choice of seats.
