'Access to a meal is important': Omaha veterans experiencing homelessness receive meal

Chefs at Conagra and New Vision Homeless Services looked to give back this holiday season, serving meals to veterans experiencing homelessness.Veterans from all branches packed in at the New Visions Veterans' Campus.The chefs began preparing meals around 1 p.m., making sure every veteran was served."So, making sure that individuals have access to a meal is so important, and especially what it does is it brings people together," said Brandy Wallar.The chefs at Conagra and the New Vision Homeless Services hopes that everyone has a great holiday season.Click here for the latest headlines from KETV NewsWatch 7
