BRATTLEBORO -- A night of rock and alternative music from local and regional up-and-coming artists will hit the Heart Rose Club stage on Friday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m.
Technicolour Ltd hails from Brattleboro and Keene, N.H. Comprised of the artistic passions of Miles Ackerman-Hovis, Keaton Walsh and Lucas Majer, their sound circles the genres of rock, post-punk and grunge. Each artist brings a unique musical perspective that swirls influences and mixes to create a unique hue, according to a release.
From turmoil to transparency, Evelynroze is an award-winning singer/songwriter, actress, and advocate. Hailing from Massachusetts, she embraces vulnerability in sharing her journey and crafts music, performances and content geared toward staying resilient through adversity. In 2023, Evelyn went viral on TikTok for her advocacy content, which boosted her music and platform. The band's genres include a mix of grunge, alt rock, country and piano ballads.
Growing up in Wilmington and Brattleboro, guitarist Nate Potter has always had a passion for music. Playing under the name NCP Sounds, Potter's music taste gears towards rock, blues and reggae. While sometimes accompanied by other musicians, Potter loops his guitar tracks live and creates huge sonic landscapes and soulful songs from just one person and a guitar.
Admission is $15 and includes a meal prepared by the Heart Rose Club staff. The performances will be recorded by Brattleboro Community TV.
