GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) - The Grand Junction Police Department is asking for the community's help in locating a suspect involved in a hit-and-run.
Around 7:45 a.m., Monday, GJPD responded to a non-injury hit-and-run crash near Seventh Street and Grand Avenue.
When officers arrived at the scene, they learned a charcoal gray Chevy Impala was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed and collided with two vehicles from behind. The suspect's car was last seen traveling east on Grand Avenue.
The police department said other identifying marks include the Impala's model year ranging from 2003 to 2015. It has visible damage on the front passenger and driver's sides. The vehicle might also have red or white chips on it because of the crash, GJPD said.
