Then from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the museum will host its annual Winter Market, featuring about a dozen local vendors. On the evening of Tuesday, Dec. 17, the new exhibition "Billy Cannon: They Called Him Legend" opens at the Capitol Park Museum in Baton Rouge. Surveying the life of LSU's first Heisman Trophy winner both on and off the field, the exhibit will feature many artifacts from the Cannon family collection, including photographs, trophies and uniforms. The annual Creole Christmas tour of historic house museums decorated for the holidays will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 27-29.
